Arabic & bilingual websites that read right

In the UAE your customers switch between English and Arabic. We build websites where both versions are first-class: a true right-to-left Arabic layout, its own address for each language, and the tags search engines need to show the right one.

Why it matters

An Arabic page in an English layout looks like an afterthought

Arabic reads right to left, and so should everything around it: the menu, headings, bullet points, arrows, forms and image sliders. When only the words change, Arabic-speaking visitors feel it straight away, and so does their trust in your business.

Search engines need the same care. Without a separate URL and the right language tags, your Arabic pages may never be shown to people searching in Arabic.

What we set up for every bilingual site

  • A full right-to-left layout for Arabic, not a mirrored copy
  • A separate URL for each language, for example /en/ and /ar/
  • The page language declared in the code, and hreflang tags between translations
  • A language switch that keeps visitors on the same page
  • Fonts chosen to render Arabic clearly on phones
  • An admin that keeps a version of every page, product and post per language
  • Both languages in the sitemap
Where we use it

Bilingual is built in, not bolted on

The same right-to-left foundation works for every kind of project we build.

Company websites

Services, products, projects and pages in English and Arabic, all edited from one admin.

Online stores

Arabic storefront with product pages, cart, checkout and customer accounts running right to left.

Portals and web apps

Customer and partner portals where each user can choose their language.

Bilingual SEO

Separate titles, descriptions and URLs per language, linked with hreflang.

Language switch

One click to the same page in the other language, never back to the home page.

Translations in the admin

Each page, product and post keeps a version per language, ready for a third later.

Reviews

What clients say about this work

WDD built our new website in English and Arabic. Our whole product range, services and projects are now managed from the admin, and our team adds new products and pages without waiting for a developer. The Arabic version is properly right to left, not just translated. Communication was clear from start to launch.

Process

How your project runs

Five clear steps, with something you can see and approve at the end of each one.

  1. Discovery call

We ask about your customers, your goals and the pages or features you need. You get honest advice, even if it is "you do not need custom work".

  2. Written proposal

Scope, page list, timeline and a quote in AED, in writing. We go through it together and adjust it to your budget before any work starts.

  3. Design

Page designs in your brand, for phone and desktop, for you to review and approve.

  4. Build & test

We build in short milestones, with a link you can click through on your own phone at each step.

  5. Launch & care

Go-live, a walk-through of your admin, and hosting, updates and support afterwards if you want it.

FAQ

Arabic and bilingual websites: your questions

What is the difference between a translated site and a real bilingual site?

A translation plugin swaps the words and leaves the layout as it was, so Arabic text sits inside an English left-to-right design. A real bilingual site flips the whole layout to right-to-left for Arabic: navigation, text alignment, icons that point a direction, forms and sliders. Each language also gets its own address, so search engines can index both.

Do you write the Arabic content?

We build the Arabic version and lay out whatever Arabic text you provide. If you need translation, we recommend a professional Arabic translator rather than machine translation, and we can work with yours. The admin stores a separate version of every page, product and post per language.

Will both language versions show up on Google?

We set up the technical side so they can: a separate URL per language, the language declared on every page, hreflang tags linking each page to its translation, and both versions in the sitemap. Ranking then depends on your content and competition.

Can we add a third language later?

Yes. Content is stored with a translation per language, so another language can be added from the admin without rebuilding the site.

Can an online store run in Arabic too?

Yes. Our DesiCart e-commerce platform has an English, Arabic and Urdu storefront, with the Arabic and Urdu versions laid out right to left.
